Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our handcrafted Amish cabins.

How are the cabins delivered to my property?

Our cabins are delivered fully assembled via a specialized truck and trailer system. We use a 'mule' delivery shed mover to precisely position the structure on your prepared site without damaging your lawn.

Do I need to prepare a foundation before delivery?

Yes, we recommend a level gravel pad or concrete piers. A proper foundation ensures the longevity of the structure and prevents moisture issues. We can provide specific footprint dimensions once your order is placed.

Are the cabins insulated for year-round use?

While our standard models come with basic framing, we offer premium insulation packages including spray foam or fiberglass batts, along with thermal-pane windows, to ensure comfort in both summer and winter.

What kind of warranty comes with an Amish Built Cabin?

We provide a 10-year structural warranty on all cabins. Additionally, specific materials like our 40-year metal roofing and LP SmartSide siding carry their own manufacturer warranties against rot and decay.

Can I customize the layout and features of my cabin?

Absolutely. You can choose from various porch configurations, window placements, interior finishing options, and electrical packages to ensure your cabin meets your specific needs.

Do I need a permit for my cabin?

Permit requirements vary significantly by county and municipality. We recommend contacting your local building department to determine the zoning laws and permit needs for accessory structures in your area.
